Camera Shots Quiz

For class we had our first quiz. This quiz was much different than a regular one. We were told to create a presentation of a story in 15 shots using specific shots we learnt in class.

We has to use an object so I decided to tell a story of my water-bottle’s first day of school and its journey to be able to get to its first class of the day.

I think the story turned out really good. I think i chose the correct shots to tell the story best. I think amn important shot was the first shot which was the establishing shot since it was able to show the place where teh story was taking place which in this case was school. I also think that my favorite shots were the close up shots because I use them to show the water bottle’s “face” ( obviously the water bottle doesn’t have a face but the cap is representing its “face”).  Although these were all great i do think i can work on  the extreme long shot because i think i struggled choosing the right spot where to take the picture and I want to make sure next time You are able to understand better where the water bottle was going since the shots are supposed to tell a story. The last shot I think I could’ve improved on was the point of view shot. I want to work on being able to tell the point of view, I don’t want it to look like an over the shoulder shot.

Aice Media 25-26 Media in our lives

 Welcome to my blog: Media in our lives

My name is Camila and i am starting this blog to be able to discuss and get other people’s opinions on very important topic in our generation: Media. I am taking Aice Media studies right now and in this vlog i will be documenting everything i do through the year

One big thing from this class that we have learnt is media. As the years have passed media has become more and more essential and popular on our everyday lives, and while it can be beneficial at times, it can also be harmful at other times.

This blog is just for that! I want to read and see other people’s perspectives about this and see if anybody has recommendations on how to utilize media correctly. I think this is a very good opportunity for everybody to learn more about this.

I will be sending posts about different aspects of media and i will be ready to hear what you guys have to say. I will also show you guys my projects from this class.
