One Word Film Project
In class last week we were asked to create an editing project called a “One Word Film Project”. In this project we were in groups, each group had to pick a word anonymously out of a bowl and we had to create a story in schools utilizing that word and using our knowledge of shots and angles and editing techniques we has to make a 1 minute to a minute and a half film.
The word we got was “concerned” our idea was to make a story of a girl walking to class but she has a stalker. With our brainstorming sheet we wrote down all the shots and angles we were going to do along with a story board of all the shots so it would be easier for us to know exactly what we were going to act and film and this way the filming process would be easier. We utilized Adobe Premiere for the editing part. this program was really easy to use to cut all segments and edit them together in a cohesive way.
I think me ad my partner did a good job on making a cohesive story and editing it accordingly, as well as making sure people understand our word is “Concerned”. I think something we could have improved on is the precision of some shots. Making sure it was known what type of shot it was.
